Carl’s Jr. Makes Its Florida Debut

Parent company CKE Restaurants partners with RSMG Holding to open store near Miami.

Carl’s Jr. announced today, March 12, that it has opened its first Florida restaurant, located in Doral, near Miami. Carl’s Jr. falls under the CKE Restaurants umbrella, which also includes Hardee’s.

CKE partnered with RSMG Holding to open the restaurant. “RSMG is looking to position Carl’s Jr. as a market leader in South Florida,” says Ron Santolaya, CEO and partner of RSMG, in the release. “We look forward to utilizing our values and creating a long-lasting relationship with the Doral and South Florida community that can continue to grow, and hopefully expand both domestically and internationally, over the upcoming years.”

RSMG plans to employ more than 40 staffers plus management at the 2,500-square-foot, 42-seat Doral restaurant.

Carl’s Jr. serves charbroiled burgers, hand-breaded chicken tenders, hand-scooped shakes and breakfast burgers. It operates more than 1,000 restaurants across the U.S. and has a presence in 25 countries worldwide.
